Our housing facilities exist for the purpose of providing an alternate and appropriate living arrangement for those mentally challenged/developmentally disabled individuals who live in our residential homes. These homes provide a setting that is conducive to the development of adaptive behaviors, self-help and independent living skills. Our staff provides or arranges assistance in order to meet the individual's needs or desires, to help that individual live successfully in the community. It often entails teaching money management, meal planning, health, and self-care. Community involvement is encouraged and activities are provided in our residential homes. Our goal is to assist individuals to make informed choices and reach their own goals, with support available for as long as it is needed. |
