Supported Employment H.A.T.S., Inc. supports individuals with different types of disabilities to be competitively employed at actual businesses in the community and hired under a typical job description. Our agency will provide a job coach who will help support and train the individual on his or her job duties. The job coach will also ensure that all parties and/or stakeholders involved are comfortable with the individual's quality of work and acclamation into the work culture. Therefore, the individual is employed by the business and there is no charge for job coaching. This is an incredible opportunity for businesses to hire for entry level positions and fill the void by hiring for a portion of a job description that could be filled with a part-time worker. By hiring supported individuals directly, businesses have the opportunity to take advantage of a "Work Opportunity Tax Credit."
